Most of my work is dripping with texture. I scrape across the canvas with a variety of tools and materials to get a layered, texture effect. These close-ups of “Winter Woods” show some of the textural detail. This is a large piece (5 ft. x 4 ft.). I like that you can stand close to it and have a different experience.

I’ve been working with blue lately. It was never my favorite. I naturally gravitate to neutrals and I like red. Blue is growing on me. Blue is good.
