What’s Done is Done

Abstract, 48" x 36" acrylic on canvas

The moment I published the previous post, I knew what I had to do.  I painted over the piece.   I hated it.  It was trite; revolting.  Layers upon layers of retrying thickened the  canvas, but I could not make it work.  I was attached to an idea, an image in my head that I could not reveal.  I am happy I covered it.  This is the result. Thus, the psychology of art in process.

  1. What a brilliant and absolutely breath-taking piece! It has layers of the inner climate of the mind touching the outer realm (at least of my own!). Am speechless.
Keep inspiring & sharing, know that it’s valued. Cheers.

    • I am struck by your comment! Thank you so much. This piece took a lot out of me. It took a considerable amount of courage to get it to its current state!
